According to the information, at Patel Chowk of Bairagnia police station area, the said youth was arranging liquor on a cart and was selling Nepali fennel liquor for Rs. 100, shouting like a vegetable market. Whereas Bairagnia police station is situated at a short distance from the incident spot. At the same time, there is Nepal border at a distance of about two kilometers, where SSB security is deployed 24 hours. The special thing is that the young man kept selling liquor for hours at the main intersection amidst a crowd of thousands. Despite this, neither the police nor the Prohibition Department came to know anything about it.
It is being told that some local people made a video of a young man selling liquor and shared it on social media, which went viral. After this, a complaint was lodged by a local youth at Bairagnia police station. After that the police reached the spot. By then, as soon as he got wind of the arrival of the police, the young man ran away from the spot with liquor. At present the police is busy searching for the youth and is refusing to tell anything in this matter.
